the current state of my dangel is a rather sad one - the car has run 188.000, has the 2,5 natural aspiratet diesel with 75 cv, and more technical difficulties than should be mentioned in one thread.
the good parts: the body is solid, almost no rust on it - some dents, dings and the usual rust on the front subframe outer part. all dangel-specific bodyparts are present and ok, the engine runs, the powersteering works, all glas seems to be undamaged, the electrics are working as does the heater/vent

the not so good things: the brakes need an overhaul, the interior is shot - seatcovers are damaged, the dash might be saveable but has some holes drilled in it - i guess this was a 2 seater-car from the factrory, so i am on the hunt for a complete rear benchseat, safetybelts, rear doorcards....and some other bits an pieces of the interior

but my car also features a highlight of technical engeneering unseen in the world of dangels - at some time in its life there must have been a genius at work on it - dangel fans with weak stomach please close the thread cause what you will see now will make you cry and vomit:

what you see is real - some sort of particlephysicist or nasa-engeneer has actualy sleeved and welded the transfercase to the transmission, with the tremendous result that the car ist completely undriveable at the moment, and shakes like an amusement-park ride, sending the transmission in some sort of orbit around the transfercase.

front and rear diff seem to be ok so far, but in order to get this thing back on the road again i´m in desperate need of some very special parts and a good amount of technical tips from the dangel specialists i hope to find here.

that´s why the cars current situation looks more like this:

some pics of parts that came with the car - one seems to be a new rear driveshaft cardan...but where does the ring belong?

i guess this project will keep me bussy for a while - as progress is made i will open a technical thread in the 505 break section of this forums to document it and keep the ones interested updated

there is some work on your transmission cardan...
It will be difficultt to explain in english, but apparently (in my opinion) your 505 has had the double tranmission cardan before this massacre...
And the ring is for this double cardan.
Here is the diagram of a double cardan:

You must remove all the "shit" between the transfer box and gearbox and repalce it with double cardan and put a snubber (i don't be sure about this word) below the double cardan and between the two box.

i´m in the prozess of removing the transfercase right now - luckily, whoever did this "modification", couldn´t weld at all, so the transfercase will slide out without cutting.....

i have the left part of the snubber, but the right part seems missing - what is the function of the snubber?

i found this thing mounted to the lower part of the transfercase...obviously part of the modification..

i already contacted the parts dealer you linked and am waiting for a response

should i open a new topic in the 505 section to take the discussion there since this might become a longer thread?
